17.00 – 18.30

IT University of Copenhagen

Are you curious about the future of data safety and if it is possible to make meaningful regulations for companies’ use of your data? If yes, then join us for an inspiring evening, together with our three guest speakers, at the IT University of Copenhagen.

Data security and data ethics have never been more important. All companies collect and store a lot of important data about their customers and products, but how can you as a customer be sure that the company handles this data in a secure way? What are the rules and regulations in regard to this? And how can companies avoid cyber incidents? No matter what field you are in, you will certainly work with data in some way.

At this event you will get the opportunity to gain knowledge about why policies and regulations, within this area, can be a necessity and how it can help towards avoiding the misuse of data and instead provide better insight and safety for the individual person. Furthermore, we will come across already existing initiatives, such as the D-seal, which companies can achieve by fulfilling certain criterias within the areas of data security, data protection and data ethics.

You will meet:

Johan Busse, Chairman of The Danish Council on Ethics
Birgitte Kofod Olsen, Ph.D. and Partner at Carve Consulting
Mikael Jensen, Director of D-seal (D-mærket)

Program:

17:00-17:10 Introduction by Digi-Talks
17:10-18:10 Individual talks by the speakers
18:10-18:30 Q&A session
18:30-19:00 Networking w. food & drinks
