Get started with the D-seal's criterion 6

Is your company ready to take Privacy & Security by Design & Default (PbD & SbD) to the next level? Join our hands-on workshop, where the Alexandra Institute will guide you through the D-seal’s criterion 6 with a focus on Security by Design.

What will you learn?
Companies registered under the D-seal will gain insights into working systematically with SbD in their software development. Some of the workshop’s key elements will be:

  • Overview of criterion 6: Understand what is required when working with privacy and security from start to finish in your products and services.
  • Risk assessment in software development: Learn how to identify and evaluate potential risks in your development process. (Risk assessment)
  • Enhancement of software security posture: Receive a practical tool to assess and improve your company’s software security posture. (OWASP SAMM)
  • Development of secure applications: Concrete methods for building security into your applications from the get-go, ensuring they meet data security and protection requirements. (Code Management)
  • Customer dialogue on data security and ethics: Get introduced to a concrete tool that helps you communicate and manage expectations around security, privacy protection, and responsible data use with your clients (Dialogværktøj)

Why participate?
By working systematically with the D-seal and PbD & SbD, your company not only builds secure solutions but also establishes trust with your customers by demonstrating that data protection is an integral part of your products and services. Through this workshop the experts from the Alexandra Institute will provide you with access to practical tools and approaches that will make it easier to navigate the challenges of criterion 6. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in follow-up sessions with the Alexandra Institute to ensure you achieve your goals.

The workshop will be conducted in English, but questions may be asked in Danish, if preferred.

Don't miss this opportunity to ensure you successfully meet the D-seal's criterion on security in software development, and to strengthen both your product security and your customers’ trust in your company!

The workshop is supported by the Danish Industry Foundation through the Sb3D project.

As a prerequisite for participating in the workshop your company must be registered in the D-seal self-assessment tool and have been assigned criterion 6.
